amiibo: Splatoon Series - Callie & Marie Alterna (2-Pack) - New

$ 29.99

Release Date: 9/5/2024

The Squid Sisters, from the Splatoon™ series, are an idol group formed by two cousins. After debuting with City of Color, they quickly rose to top-idol status when their fourth single, Calamari Inkantation, became a massive hit. Their catchphrase is “stay fresh!” This amiibo™ 2-pack set illustrates the Squid Sisters in their “Alterna” styles.

Callie is cheerful and upbeat, playing the comedic foil of the group. She likes being outdoors and is so energetic that she never runs out of steam. After moving on from Inkopolis News, she also made appearances in dramas. Marie is cool and self-assured; she’s the one with the acerbic wit. She prefers staying indoors and relaxing. She also does a solo radio program called Marie After Midnight.

In the Splatoon 3 game, you can tap in a Splatoon series amiibo figure and make friends with the character that appears in your game. You can get special gear and even snap in-game photos together. You’ll also then be able to save* your customized gear, weapons, and settings to your amiibo figure. Handy for making quick gear changes—or playing on someone else's system.

You can also get cool in-game extras with amiibo accessories in other compatible games. Just tap an amiibo accessory to the NFC touchpoint to enjoy fun in-game extra features in compatible games on the Nintendo Switch™ system.

*The Splatoon 3 game allows you to save game data on the amiibo figure. Game data must be deleted before saving data from another amiibo compatible game.

Games, systems, and amiibo sold separately. Visit nintendo.com/amiibo for details on amiibo functionality.
